    I can't say that only article increase your website's page ranking. I agree to your that article is the most and helpful technique which is give good traffic, visitors and good quality backlinks. Mostly article websites have good page rank.

    When using article marketing you want to make sure to offer a wide range of articles. The more varieties you offer the more likely it is that you will pop up in a search result rather than someone else. In the same breath don't replace quality with quantity because you'll sacrifice dependability.

    Anything worth having is never easy to come by. That includes Page Rank and 1st SERP position.

    Article marketing works. Plain and simple. Not only do you get article directory backlinks from it but the people who pick up and publish your articles on their sites will also provide you a backlink (provided they keep the links intact).

    I don't think submission to article directories will do much for your page rank. SERPS ya but not PR. Content will help, but there are other factors that come into play too. I would not worry too much about PR as long as you are ranking well, and people are staying on your site.
