iAd or admob?

    Hi all,

I am planning to promote my recently built app. Upon research I found that there are two major mobile advertising sites that provide a platform to advertise apps: iAd & admob. iAd is advertising platform from Apple, while admob is from Google. Both are big advertising giant, however, these two giant has quite confused me over which should I select? My app is a reading skill improvement application for iPhone, iPad & all that support iOS. Can anyone suggest me which one of two will be most suited to me?

One more question, Is there any account setup or registration cost for iAd & admob apart from their pay per click or action costs?

Use more than one, if one doesn't fill all the way, the other will. Personally I've heard that iAd is pretty terrible. You can even use a mediation layer. Mopub is one so you can use many networks through one portal; I know that Tapit is also working on creating a mediation layer too.

Admob has very strict rules, If you are new to mobile advertising then pick another network.

    admob is good..
iad works only in US, UK, Germany and maybe 1 or 2 other west european countries.
if you have global traffic try some mediation platforms like adiquity,mobclix..I have got good results from them...

admob is far better than iad. while you choose iad, apple earn the most and you earn nothing.
