I am writing articles for backlinks at ezine articles go articles etc I usually bookmark them so google can pick them up. However it still takes a few weeks to months for the effects to take place. How can I speed up the process of picking up my new backlinks and for my website to go higher quicker. Is this all I can do really?

Try to crawl the page again and again where your link is added.

It all about your fresh content and authentic, do-follow and high page rank backlinks, therefore you should concentrate on these things to get good ranking position in SERP.

Google might have crawled those pages but didn't index them yet and you can't force it to index faster. Just wait and in the mean time what you can probably do is ping those backlink containing urls.

True, there are no easy way to speed up ranking process, you just have to wait for the google's reward if you are doing it correctly and under google webmaster guidelines.

There is no way to speed up ranking. If you do something beyond the ordinary, Google will light up your site.

I have been using Rank Tracker for quite some time and I have to say it works like a charm and I am always up to date on where I rank in the Search Engines for all the keywords that I care about ranking. Even though Rank Tracker is a great tool I have found that unless you know what you are doing it can cause warnings from the big G and also run slowly if you are querying many Search Engines for hundreds of keywords. Of course there are ways to set the preferences in the tool using proxies and captcha solving to circumvent the blocks but they significantly slow down the whole process.

To speed up ranking process you have to submit your site in the directory listing, article submission, blog commenting, etc. to increase the visibility on the search engine.

I'd like to get the opinions and advice from warriors who have experience in buying a dropped/expired domain to speed up the seo ranking process...

I read somewhere here on the forum that says, if you want to get trust in the eyes of G (faster than you would with a brand new domain), then you should buy a domain BEFORE it expires. Is this true? What is the "Best" place to go to find these expired domains before they expire.

    thanks

Since google knows what keyword your ranking for bec. of the anchor texts you have made using those article directories. I think you should also consider commenting on related sites. Write on topic comments, 60-100 words, use names as anchor text and not your keyword, these would give high approval rate. Then comment on 30-40 related sites. Maybe 20 today, and 20 the next day. And see what happens to your ranking ;)

I would suggest you search the forum for the thread where you saw that information and ask about it there, or start a new thread of your own.

This isn't something I've tried myself, but something I have read. In the first place you would need a list of all the url's where your links are placed (I don't keep a list which is one reason why I haven't tried it). You can then ping them, and/or put them all in an RSS feed which you can then submit (try a search for submit RSS feed free to see where).
