    Hello friends,

Actually I started to submit 6 websites (include one my website) yesterday. Do you have experience about traffics from directories submission? How much traffics will I get from 13400 directories if I submit manually my one website?

Please share here real experience so I keep work on.

It all depends on various factors like how well known/how high ranked the directories are. You should get quite a few if they're in your niche. However, use an SEO tool as this will take a long time if your doing it manually!

Sometimes those directory submissions simply play the role of trying to build backlinks, pr, but do not actually convert to real traffic. So it al depends on how you submitted your site, and where.

I agree I think you will see better rankings and pr but you may not see a lot of traffic from the directories but you just might.

Probably not a lot! To get traffic people need to go to the directory and find your site. How many people do you know who uses a directory to find something? Not very many I expect, they all use Google.

wow 13k per 6 sites? It will take years. This is done mainly to increase google pr and rank, don't expect too much traffic of it.

A big fat zero from directories themselves (barely anyone uses a directory, especially not the 478569865 spam piles of rubbish out there that everyone makes, including myself.. I made one long ago and feel great shame for it lol!). Look up from Matt Cutts and paid links (in response to a question about directories) and this will give you an idea. Yes, it's about paid, but the principle is the same; if the directory is accepting links from everyone (like containing lots of spammy links) then there's going to be little trust put in it. There's also an interview I remember from somewhere and it's about submitting software to a software directory (it won't hurt, but not necessarily a vote or something along those lines). While it might increase link count, it doesn't seem like it will have the same positive impact it did on rankings back up until about 2007. You're also sharing link space with other sites (potentially spammy). If you want to chase low-value links like that, then probably better off with article site backlinks.

Its just depend on which directory list you used- dofollow or nofolllow directory list. One more thing directories are helpful to grow our keywords not for get traffic.

Not more than 100, directory helps only in back-link and page-rank improvement.

To be honest doing something like that will do more harm than good, nobody uses directory's any more now search engines rule. Thing is there are thousands and thousands of spammy directory's that are not used for anything but submitting sites to in the hope of traffic or building links, thing is building links from them sites is not great in fact getting that many from such sites will most likely just give you a bad name with the search engines. :/

If you can get in local ones and are selling a service that helps you could get some traffic out of it
