friend, you have received so many answers and all varies from each other.but what ever i know is that there are two kinds of keywords, one which gives you traffic and one which gives low traffic but the genuine and exact leads which you want to get,so the difference is all about your need and requirement.

    Hi,
At 1st stage you need to use 4 to 5 phrase keyword.
2nd stage 3 to 4 phrase keyword, and at the last stage you need to use 3 phrase keywords.

    Thanks

Please go to related section there you will find more answers.
In my opinion you should shuffle your keywords on blog by following LSI model.

    @ats2038

When you ask, "how you can use those keywords in your blog", are you asking 1) how to select the best keywords to advertise for your blog, or 2) how to incorporate a set of keywords into the copy of your blog (which would be more SEO, not PPC, though it will indeed help your quality scores and therefore lower your PPC costs)? Would like to help but not sure what you are asking.

It really depends on where you are at in regards to your budget situation. Make financially sound decisions on what type of keywords are best for this stage in your own development. If you are just starting out, I highly recommend going after highly relevant keywords that have low competition. This way you can start building some traffic now, and then start making plans to work on more aggressive keywords later.

Understand the concept behind SEO keywords. The term SEO stands for “search engine optimization,” and it refers to how you can best equip your website to gain high placement in search engine results.

From what I've found it's good to use long tail keywords that are built around your main niche or keyword no more than 3-4 times in a 500-700 word article that you post on your blog or website. It's not definite because no one really knows how google works, but you do need those type of keywords in the content that you're producing.

When you use keywords, do thehy need to be highlighted a certain way. Or is just natural writing style and as you write you happan to mention your keyword a few times?

Now the question is, once you got those Traffic Keywords how to use them ? There are no magic’s or hidden secret involved in using keywords. Its all about where you are placing the keyword and the density.
-First, write useful information satisfying the visitors.
-Use the keyword in the very beginning of Title.
-Use the keyword in the first paragraph.
-Shall use the keyword in the sub-title of the blog post.
-Use the keyword in the last paragraph.
-Of course, use the keyword in the body too.
Keep the density somewhere between 2-5% (Shall use texanalyzer to measure it) – generally i don’t bother about these stuffs, let it become natural…
Important: Don’t always write articles to stuff keywords instead “convey the message naturally” and you will “use keywords naturally”.

Can vouch for Google keyword tool but it's good practice to be conservative and take 25% away from the actual figure!

If we need a good traffic ,we should use the proper less competitive keyword. its a best solution for increasing our site traffic.
