DMOZ isnt that important it was in the past - but I could give u some advice - design of your website is very important, they tend to approve professional looking sites more likely

No they don't, have you seen some of the garbage there? the design of my sites is in the top 1% of sites on the web, content the best, page one of Google for keywords, best of everything, never had a site listed.

My sites sell not a single item and have educated tens of thousands, no listings.

Your comment is so untrue and I can prove it.

    Forget DMOZ and get relaxed.

DMOZ is no more alive. Nobody bother about DMOZ now a days.

Please do click the 'volunteer to edit this category' button on every page, then you can spend your spare time with no payment joining the hard working volunteer editing team and show us how not to be lazy and spend several hours a day working in the directory.

Biased, yes DMOZ biased against trash, spam and site owners who want DMOZ to function for their benefit.

Any way look forward to you passing the test and spending your spare time editing, its a great hobby and you get to be called some colourful names on Digital Point forums! LOL

Not biased. To build such directory Admins and Dvelopers need to spend lots of their effort.

But biased are the editors of DMOZ. They are on their own kingdom. Better you forget about their Kingdom and get relax. Peace. ;)

Then how come the commercial websites are listed? Then how come non-commercial websites don't get included? ;)

Indeed, which more than explains the TENS OF THOUSANDS of deeplinks to syndicated content that Topix enjoys... as that certainly in no way is a perk to the editor owned site... oh wait, that's it right? The bias is only against non-editors.

In fact, that trash not only gets special treatment within the directory, it wasn't even added by a human, making the HUMAN edited part of the mantra a bit false when it comes to editor perks...

Just like the colorful names the editors use to discribe the posters here on Digital Point. :)

You are having a laugh aren't you. Almost all the sites I list are non-commercial!

Just check out this whole section, as a mere example, and tell me the ratio of commercial to non-commercial sites!

not if you do it correctly. There are two correct methods...

    SUBMIT & FORGET
    FORGET 2 SUBMIT

Both have about the same wait time... so the key is the FORGET part :D
