This is going to depend on your business.
From a digital point of view you might want to find where your prospective clients will be on the net. yahoo answers, forums, linkedin facebook.
Other place you might want to try are industry networking groups like chamber of commerce BNI etc

Basically, find where your prospective clients will be and start interacting with them.

Hi for what you are offering, I would look into paying for adwords or local advertisements in newspapers.

I agree with TouchCreate, hit both online and offline channels. Test a few things (as cheaply as possible), then keep using what works and drop what doesn't. Marketing 101. Good luck and tell us how it goes

    hello there,
niche market is totally depend on you product/services. You need to do market research. putting signature and commenting on blog will help you but the very important is to market your service. And I think digital media is best platform to do this.
    Cheers!

It depends really on what type of business your running. For small tasks and services, you could try Fiverr.com or a clone site to it that is in your niche. You could also use the DP marketplace! Even sometimes eBay or get your own website! There's lots of places!

Possibly look into Adwords. Some people I know have had success with it related to construction.
