I can build a new website and get it indexed in Google in less than 24 hours. However, when I start building back links to the new site, it takes forever for Google to recognize those links and increase my websites authority (including rise in ranking of keyword terms in SERPs). What's up with that? Is there a way to trigger Google to give credit for the back links sooner? Thanks, in advance, for any help.
Their is no way of rushing the bot to crawl your backlinks. The bot has to first crawl the pages at hand to find them. And don't be fooled by this backlink popularity story, its only one of 200 signals that Google use to determine your sites performance in the search results
my site created 24 day old, but when i login google webmaster, google still not update backlinks. I have created backlinks on many site
Your stats in Webmaster tools only start showing after around a months and only a month their after do your backlinks show. Google is weeks behind in webmaster tools. If you want a more accurate figure use analytics or an online tool like Open Site Explore. Google will also not show all your backlinks, they tend to filter out junk backlinks and only show relevant backlinks.
And further more. Google are starting to penalize sites with "unnatural links", so watch out what backlinks you create, they can and will do more harm than good to your site
I wouldn't stress about google not showing you a list of all your links in google webmaster tools. I've kept track of of my main business website and estimate that I have many more back links than google acknowledges. From the study of the sites I do have and have tracked I've seen that google is only acknowledging around 25% of my know links. If your ranking for those search terms you want to rank for is where you want them I wouldnt stress that your backlinks are not being officially seen. Google knows where they are.
