Hello, I just started my site The Noob Blog and I was wondering what you guys thought of my placement for my Adsense ads. I just recently added in the ads inbetween my posts because I heard that gave good clickthrough rates. So far my clickthrough rate is very low and I've only had 1 click. :( Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

use the large rectangle 336x280 in stead of the 480x60 block, and use floating style(right will be great), colors are fine.

Borders from the side bar block should go, either use blue color or the colors of your post headings.

Colors look good. I would place images next to the ads, but MAKE SURE TO PLACE A Border or divider between the images and the ads.

    See www.videoday.net for an example.

I would remove the borders from the ads on the left, I would add a link unit on top. You can get a much nicer looking website template from my website. Check my signature. There are pretty nice looking templates and very easy to edit. & Free ;)

I don't see any ads on that example site imnotadoctor. If you could find another example that would be great, I'm a little confused about what your saying.

Look at www.videoaday.net on the homepage you will see 4 images next to an adsense ad.

You need to follow some of the advise previously given.

jawednazarali said : change to the 336x280 rectangle.

ooza said : Put a link unit at top.

    Then I would:

1.) opt out of the Advertise on my site program to remove that link.

2.) Blend the 120x600 ad, remove the border, make it look like the other one.

3.) Put another 336x280 at the bottom of the page.
