How to promote site with low compititive keywords

Hello there men. I m a total newbie in google.com so I want to ak you: how much time does it usually takes for a new web site to go in top10 of low competitive keyword in google?
My keyword has about 2k query in month, and there NO ANY competition between other sites.
Should I buy links or just wait and work on onpage optimization?

I think you should keep putting content in your site and off course do some SEO (on site + off site).

 

Try to build high PR backlinks related to your niche...

First do on-page work on your site and then start off-page optimization. Start building link and target your low competitive keyword in title and after some days your site will rank on google by your targeted keyword.

 

So my site is from one page only.
So I did on page optimization of course. Now I m interested how much time does it take for NEW SITE to get in top10 in NONE-competitive keyword (in generally of course)

First do the proper on page technique and second method is off page seo.

 

By social bookmarking, Article submission you can promote your site.

 

Do directory submission and forum posting on niche sites.
Blog creation, profile submission and link wheel on web 2.0 sites will be helpful to get high rank in SERP's.
