Thanks for the great tips jhmattern! Now im getting to understand how to get traffic from SU :D You're right about submissting the internal pages. That'll help bring a lot of targetted visitors interested in a niche to the site

Hey, I've been using stumbleupon for quite awhile, it can give some real nice traffic - make sure you get your website in the right category when submitting - otherwise you won't get the response you're looking for, and as usual, jhmattern gave some great tips.

I stumbled a bunch of the links in this thread. If anyone wants to friend up here's my page: http://player-1.stumbleupon.com/ Everyone's welcome! and I could use a few stumbles on http://www.free-contests.net

Hey everyone, I will stumble your page and give your site a short little review in exchange for one of my sites. PM me for the URL if you are interested. No adult, spam, or illegal sites please.

You have to realize that a majority of stumblers are just bored people looking to kill some time!

That's only true for some niches. Some people really are looking for new and interesting sites, and they do keep coming back. Like I said in my experience, entertainment-based sites (music) do enormously better than business sites. It all depends on who your site targets, and whether or not you're choosing the best pages to get listed in there for them to find (I wouldn't recommend just going in and adding everything on your site, nor would I suggest only adding your home page - choose a specific few pages that have a bit of a "wow factor" to catch someone's attention, like right to a tool or something).

I know I was just stating that a majority are like that!

Oh and I would appreciate any thumbs up to my featured game of the month http://www.fadplay.com/game/388/Alchemy.html which already has a few naturals thumbs ups!

    Thanks! :)

But the "majority" aren't like that - that's my point. ;) The majority of users in one niche might be like that, but the majority in another large niche might have a lot of interest in the topics, and not be ad-blind. It's not a general target site.

    I like alchemy. :) Thumbs-upped. :)

OK, let me rephrase, in my experience, the majority are like that! :)

Oh and thanks for the thumbs up! :)

I tried a paid campaign and got some decent traffic.

I keep forgetting to use it so have not gotten much free traffic lately.
    May try another paid campaign.

You are the one buying, I'm just selling myself as a friend, I think you got it the opposite way, unless, as I'm doing right now, you are also joking about buying stumblers.
