Had to laugh, a couple of years ago I caught up with a guy I'd had a huge crush on in my very early 20s and we're both "happily" entwined now with partners and children and mortgages. The catching up involved two drunken parties with flirting but nothing else although on the second occassion I had to explain in word of one syllable why I hadn't phoned for a mid afternoon rendevous Was chatting with a mutual friend about this and said "even if I was going to cheat I couldn't stand to kiss those teeth". Somehow when I was a silly young thing they hadn't mattered but really, a two year old can line up blocks straighter than that! Well, I saw him a month ago - he's in his 40s and he had braces!!! Had to wonder if the feedback had worked it's way back to him and he'd decided that his career as a philanderer would be enhanced by straight teeth, or if he'd broken up with his partner and decided to be remodelled. So, for me, it's not so much the colour, as the straightness. I prefer straight teeth!
Well, I just want to tell that I am blessed not just with a set of fake white teeth but a straight one as well.
I like clean looking teeth. They don't need to be blinding but if they are stained or yellowed, yuck. Is is a cultural thing to like really white teeth? I think the really straight teeth is a cultural thing (very American).
As long as they don't have a big piece of asparagus sticking out of their teeth, I don't really notice. Oh, except for when they have fangs. That drives me.
Yeah, the fang this is rather freaky. Also too many teeth -- you know the really big mouth where you see every last molar...
Haha fangs! When I see someone with fangs I can't help but wonder if they're about to start howling at the moon. Before you all think I'm some kind of conceited American with fake hollywood teeth on the brain starting a thread about teeth whitening, keep in mind that as a musician my teeth are essential to my livelihood, look at my avatar! Granted, making them white is a bit cosmetic, but this desire to have them be "nice" comes from their importance that goes beyond the way they look.
ha ha, shoot. Yes, I totally notice nice teeth. Bad yellow crooked one's are such a turn off. EW! I had a brace when I was much younger so now mine are straight and white and I luv them. Personally i hate horrid crooked/yellow teeth, but i also dont really like people with perfect dentist teeth that look like they will glow in the dark. Im cursed with being a heavy drinker so have slight stains which is annoying!!!
yep. my teeth started to become yellow years ago when i started smoking.. its not totally yellow though but some corners are..
I personally hate the ultra white teeth some people have after whitening treatment... It looks so fake to me, can't stand it ! Nice ivory teeth is best ! I do notice when someone's teeth are all crooked, but nice teeth, not really !
