    Both are good way to create one way back linking but If you would ask me to give high priority then I would go for Blog posting as search engines crawls blogs much faster than a article website.

    Articles are better than blog because these are prepared marketing point of view, therefore it may be more informative and have exact information about a particular topic. While blog have detailed information about the topic.
    But back link and traffic point of view both have great importance.
