    There is major two way to get traffic on your site i.e. optimized your site for both on page and off page. keep it mind, off page is rather more important to increasing pr. Suppose, if you have more link on other web site, the visitors from that site will visit your site as well. so visitors increasing - pr increasing.
    The following tasks could be done;
    - do follow blog comments giving your page link
    - forum post with signature
    - social networking
    - directory submission
    - link submission
    - search engine submission
    - review writing
    etc.

    1. Google+ profile and Google's + page (Circles)
    2. Facebook's profile and Facebook timeline

    Lastly, but not the least, Google Webmaster tool - submit your website and sitemap.
