Hi, My site was ranking for more than 50 keywords in first page of google but currently by boss is asking it to rank down so what I need to do for it, is it right to disallow the robot.txt or removing it from the root folder. Please its emergency!!!

Implement the NOINDEX meta tag on all of the pages that you want removed. Go into your Google webmaster tools account and get Google to crawl the pages you want noindexed. After Google has crawled the pages, you need to block the pages with your robots.txt file. For good measure, you could NoFollow all links pointing to the pages that you don't want indexed.
use robots.txt file or noindex in your site header. it will get down your site in google and other search engines too.
At first you need to removing it from the root folder then you need remove back link where you create back link.
There is one option available in webmaster tool to remove any link from search engine. It will take hardly 24 hours to remove all the links. Once you add the request for removing the link then google crawler will act as per your request.
