    First of all find out whether the keyword has traffic value. You can use Google Adwords tool to find that. If the keyword has traffic, just check the meta description of your site. If Google is using meta description to list your site, make sure it is relevant and descriptive.

    DO you have a good ranking for the keywords of your niche? Does your content is related to the keywords for which you get a good ranking?
    Have you checked the monthly researches of your main keywords?

    Achieving good rankings is not the only key to generating website traffic. Let me give you an example...

    I go try to rank for "chicken noodle soup for kids" and lets say this keyword gets 20 searches a month. I can get the NUMBER 1 ranking for this keyword but no traffic will be generated because there is no traffic to begin with. So make sure you choose your keywords wisely. Now don't think you could just find a high searched keyword and be done with it, the next step is to check the competition.

    SEO can seem to be complicated but it is really not once you have an understanding of the basics. :cool:

    hey, yes its definite that good ranking always get good traffic but you are checking your pr and do effective activities like forum posting, press release submission, article posting for your website you guys may strong to make your website promotion.
