    google came up with google play which is competitor for amazon and netfliz as far movie rental and you can buy music

    will google play be strong enough to compete against amazon and netflix????

    Good question, I think google will only be known as just a search engine and only that.

    It seems everything new they come out with doesn't knock out the competition

    Till now amazon is the giant and leading one to sell ebook, music, movies etc. But, now google entered as Google play and we need to wait and see at least for a month or 2 to conclude the result. however, in my opinion Google has the potential to lead the market easily but amazon already in the leading and have experience in the same market so, no decision for now.

    i think they need to stick to what they to best

    it looks like google is just trying everything and be everywhere, maybe something will work out for them besides search

    Naa i dont think google will give any hard time to amazon but yup it will give more importance to Play than amazon in searches
