help me with Nickname?

I am working on a startup part time and don't want to expose my real last name because my main employer may not like it. But I need to use some last name when I promote it, write articles, etc
It should sound normal and I need some explanation (maybe vague) why I don't use my real name..

Maybe to use my mother's last name or something like Michael Dotcom? Or Michael White?

Any ideas?

it should be understandable for you and what you would not forget
use surname of your mother for instance

I could give you some tips .
1. You could use some of your idols' nicknames , and change some letters . That way you would never forget , because who would forget their idol's name ?
2. A close friend's name could be good too . I guess no one here forgets the name of their close friends 'cause that would be epic . --"
3. Just use names that comes to your mind always .
