As we know Google's imposed repeatedly Panda updates last 4 years and They still trying to make it hard for SEO's community who were involved to get their desire results by SEO. Now due to latest updates by Google it become clear that they are trying to make it as a Banned activity?

What do you think about it?
Shouldn't SEO's think to get Retirement Now?

    Google is a search engine
    SEO = search engine OPTIMIZATION

so long search engines are around, optimization of it will always be here to stay.
but of course, Google is always trying to get rid of BlackHats

SEO is the basic work over google.
As most of the large sites, like google and facebook are giving work of smaller companies, specialists and etc. This is actually making google so popular.
Of course google are changing the algorithm frequently, so the results of blackhat seo to be minimized and google search results to be more useful.
From long time ago, google are paying more to content, quality of the articles and update of the sources, so the SEO techniques are changed.

I don't think it's a case that Google "won't" ban SEO, it's a case of it "can't". The only way it could be done is if they remove all websites that have had SEO applied to them from their index and that would lead to very slim pickings indeed (not to mention the downfall of Google themselves). I think when it comes to the Panda updates they are trying to help structure how SEO can be applied and, making it easier for those who do not know enough about SEO, to be beneficial (or can afford to pay for it to be done) to improve the rankings of their websites. They just want it done honestly. Also, it has to be remembered that this is the first time in human history that this area of expertise has occurred so they are not going to get it right first time.

It's impossible for a search engine to get rid of search engine optimization... what's Google going to do? Will they become a paid link directory, or just randomly display websites regardless of the user's search query?

The employees of Google just want to keep higher quality websites at the tops of the SERPs. That's what all this stuff is about. Black/Grayhat SEO "experts" are partially to blame for all of this deindexing and cracking down.

I don't think all the SEO is going to be dead but no doubt now the the KING will be only content so writing unique and quality content will alone take you to the top search results but still there will be a need of SEO on certain levels

Good point and I think whatever Google does, SEO experts will adapt and continue. Google won't be rid of people trying to gain a competive advantage in the serps.

Lets face it. The internet is turning into a playground for corporations.
Its only a matter of time until they own it.

    Not this year though.

It depends on what you consider "SEO". If your definition of SEO is artificially boosting search engine ranks for pages/sites that aren't the best/most relevant, then yes... of course they don't want it.

Google is the best search engine because they return the best results to end users. That is their goal and what they are constantly trying to improve upon.

Now if your definition of "SEO" is optimizing your site to make it easy to spider and make it clear what it's about... then no... of course they aren't going to "ban" it.

This is not true. Google is just lowering page optimization that's done by SEOs. They just want SEOs to be cautious about what they're doing.

    Hi,
I don't think so SEO fully can't be banned otherwise competition is quite for internet marketers or some other techniques can be created.
