I'd be inclined to stick to the bike but it's always good to mix it up to keep it interesting - especially if you are only aiming for fitness and not competition.i like swimming and bike.swimming uses more muscle compared to cycling. We humans are required to use the entire body to stay afloat as oppose to sitting down on a bicycle. Furthermore, once u start swimming enough, you might want to check out water polo. its a very very good and interesting game. cheers buddy
I have to say that i do not really enjoy the challenge of swimming so i much prefer cycling. Cycling has to have it for me because not only are you getting the varied work-out that cycling gives by the differing road and weather condition but you also get a mental stimulation by being in the open next to mother nature . Swimming in chemical loaded water cannot be good for you either.
I prefer bike (Mountain biking and offroad or downhilling) as its more interesting, and you can go to many different places.
in my opinion to keep the body fit and calories you can burn a lot more then a good exercise for you is a sport bike
I really like the sport in which the whole body moves and I can pretty much get rid of calories. My opinion is to choose a sport swimming just for you.
Swimming is the way to go, due to the fact that its a complete body work out. Give you a better upper body, due to the fact that your upper body core muscles are worked. The plus points you gain its good for stretching your self, depending on what swimming techniques you apply. In conclusion i would choose swimming.
I think both sports keeps you fit and healthy,Cycling has potential to be one of the most healthy and accessible forms of physical activity .Swimming is a good sport to improves the condition of the heart and lungs, and is one of the few ways of getting exercise that improves your all-round fitness and stamina.
Our body is getting used to physical activity, that we often use. So, in some time our body spends less calories for the same activity, 20 kilometers of bike, for example. So, the best way is to change swimming with bike and vise versa.
