    If your Bandwidth requirements are less than 100 GIGS per month, you can try 000webhosting (Its free, but the upgrade for unlimited bandwidth is less than $5 per month . I use them for my company, Beresford Trade. They have both graphical and Rich-text style site builders, control panel and full ftp, and 10 gigs of free content hosting. They have been about as reliable as gdoaddy was.

    I have been with ServerIntellect.com for sometime now, the support is great. But like others have said depends on what you need and what you can afford. If you stick with shared hosting you will always run into overloaded servers. You might want to look into Cloud Hosting too.

    Look for a minimum uptime of 99%. In fact, even 99% is actually too low - it really should be 99.5% or higher. The host should provide some sort of refund (eg prorated refund or discount) if it falls below that figure.

    So is 99.5%. That's almost 4 hours of downtime per month. Completely unacceptable.
