How to rank well on high bidding keywords?

    Everybody's talking about the fact that if one start a site, a blog, a forum, a whatever, they should choose a niche on which the competition is not so big, in order to get to rank well in google.
    But what if I want to start a blog on a really high competition niche? For example web hosting? Do I ever stand a chance? What do I have to do in order to rank well in Google?
    I exclude from the beginning the Adwords campaigns. For high competition keywords, these really tend to be very expensive.

    If you can get value backlink more than your competitors have, you will get a chance to win. Domain age also important but you can do nothing with it.

    you need a good amount of funds to be competitive.

    other than that ...
    Great (not good) contents
    Enormous (not alot) of links
    etc etc

    It will be better if you can get a good SEO company and pay them for the SEO if you are not good in SEO.

    The only two things can rank you for high competition keywords are high quality content and high quality backlinks from same niche websites.

    .edu and .gov backlinks are really good and getting high pr backlinks 6 and above are like gold. If you can get a good amount of those backlinks then that can really help with your niche.

    You can achieve top spots of Google for any high competitive keyword.But that includes lots of (quality) and (smart) hard work and obviously time.

    quality = budget ...
    backlinks = budget + quality (of your content and many many other things)

    these are hard times for ranking well for hard keywords, even though I noticed that if your quality is top then Google favors you easier then before!

    do your keywords strong in form of fill up forums and also comments in others site using BB code that after put your keyword which you wanna do strong so all the best :)

    For that, you need to get as many do follow backlinks possible and along with keywords/anchor text which you've targeted to rank high.
