    The idea is not bad but for Europeans it is a problem.

    Search for cottage in roseland (which is in Cornwall UK and yes in the US) you get three local offers but the Zip-code is US.

    I'm not sure I like that. It would be good is it showed US somewhere and a link to local engines.

    I've been tinkering with the local search on Google today with pretty good results. The results must somehow be associated with phone numbers. I did a search for local bars in my area. The first three results were the same bar, with different phone numbers. I called all 3 numbers and they do indeed belong to the bar.

    Multiple phone numbers = multiple listings in the serp? I think Google will fix this pretty quick. Anyone else have a similiar experience?

    I haven't messed with it a lot, but it seems like that would be at least one of the factors in it. Since the phone data is all public record (assuming the number is listed).

    with new google algorithm local search engine results improve your site rankings , so i agree with this thread . and also i have use this strategies with geo based keywords for promotion our site .

    If you want Google local for that you need a code from Google how you can get it 1st of all you should provide then exact address phone number area and all info related your business and website then within 21 days you will get code and after that you just put it in webmasters then your Google local will be OK
