on march 21 i set up 3 days auction here on DP, here's the link http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2432286

    long story short,
this guy htuanads won the auction.

on march 23rd (the day the auction ended) i message him that he have won the auction

He then replied that he will give the payment in 1 or 2 days, which is ok to me

I waited for 2 days (the time frame he promised), but didn't hear anything from him. (he should have inform me if he needed more time, but that didn't happen)
So, i message him again on March 25th about the payment he owe me

On march 26 he replied, and he said that he would do the half payment that day (march 26th)

Again I waited, with the hope that i will get the money that day, and again no words from him, until the end of the day.
So on March 27 i message him again, asking about the payment

Today he replied that his friend's account got suspended by paypal.

I mean what is that? after all of that time waiting, and he gave me that reason, what??
he could've just told me earlier, if he hit the bid button by accident, then i might be understand, instead he made me wasting my time.
    I could've re-list the auction, i could've sell it to somebody else.
I was soo upset, then i gave him negative itrader today for that reason.
But he gave me negative itrader in exchange.

I WAITED FOR A WEEK AND DIDN'T GET MY MONEY !!
what if I in the need of the money for an emergency situation that is going on here?
    I feel aggrieved

    My question :
-was it wrong to give negative itrader for that guy?
-am i deserve to get negative itrader for what i've done (giving him bad itrader)?

    my request to moderator(s):
-if it is possible, please remove that negative itrader of mine, as i think i don't deserve that
-please take necessary action for that user i mention

    note:
iTrader can only be given if a transaction took place and money changed hands (or if a transaction was setup to happen and someone backed out). iTrader given for reviews, given when no transaction was setup, etc. will be considered fraudulent and subject your account to immediate termination.
(i think i have the right to give bad itrader to him)

what made me even angrier was, that today he still interested to buy somebody else's website
duh, why he would do that if he 'can't make the payment'

    .
    -forgive my bad english

    1. Up to you
    2. Up to him/her

The two parties to a deal can give whatever itrader they want - for whatever reason they want. They both did and that is the end of it. What other question does a moderator need to address?

I feel that iTrader system should be removed and members should be aware of their own deals whether they get scammed or whatsoever...

It was right of you to give negative and wrong of him :)

As the fault lies with him and not you.

It wasn't wrong of you, but it's a risk you need to accept (negative in return) if you go that route. However, anyone doing due diligence when they deal with you should see what has happened (they'll come across this thread), so don't worry.

No it shouldn't. Anyone who puts much faith in feedback like "Not so familiar seller" doesn't have too many brain cells.

Unfair use of the itrader system doesn't make it a useless feature.

Members can check the feedback of the buyer who didn't pay and will gain some insight into what actually happened, making itrader far from being useless.

I don't see what's wrong. The bidder who won was going to pay for your site and the PayPal account he was planning to use got limited, which is out of control. He wasted your time but perhaps you can go on and try to sell it again?

But we don't know whether the buyer is telling the truth because he didn't show any proof of limited Paypal account
