How Yahoo Answers are helpful in SEO ?

    I found that when we post links in yahoo answers they dont remain as link, they become a text, How it is helpful ?

    That is because you have level 1 account. When you are up to level 2, links are clickable :)

    you need a level 2 account for click able link, answer back link is powerful than any other back link, you know its a busy website, millions of user are visiting that.

    Yes, it is almost useless until you reach level2, then backlinks from Yahoo Answers will help you a lot in SEO (and also for some extra visitors!) :)

    The links are nofollow, and don't allow anchor, so the SEO impact isn't that big. The naked anchors do help your anchor diversity and branding however, and far more importantly, Yahoo Answers can bring in some pretty high quality traffic... which is really the whole point of all of this

    It won't help in anything, as all links in Yahoo answers are nofollow since 2008 :)

    You cannot increase the page rank with yahoo answers. But you could get extra traffic from it. All of the links on it are nofollow.

    I agree with your answer Rems...Yahoo Answer is very good at targeting marketing. If your answer has a link to your website, they will click your link to get more information. It means that using Yahoo Answer Marketing can help you attract many vistors to your site...

    Not to my knowledge. I'm level 5 and cannot place anchor text in Yahoo Answers links. But those links can bring you targeted traffic.

    Yahoo answer can help your website in many ways,

    First it diversify your backlink profile which is very much important after the Panda.
    Moreover it also helps to get some quality traffic back to your website.
    But all these are only possible if you have account at level 2 or higher.
