I usually used Magento framework and its have awesome modules and very easy way to developed a web application like eCommerce sites so you can point out Magento is best for me or not instead of Os-commerce and WordPress. I developed some of the website like http://psdtomagento.com, http://sieraden.nl, http://virginsoft.com etc Please suggest me weather it fulfill all the features or not.

Depends what kind of ecommerce site you have. Agreed Magento is great for large sites with a big inventory, however if you have a small shop iwht not much stock, something like shopify can be a lot easier and cheaper to use.

Rather than magento, you can also try zeuscart, the popular open source script.

I wouldn't see there's a "best" ecommerce frame work. Every one has different needs and those needs will determine which ecommerce solution is best for them. However, there are some basic things I look for when shopping for an ecommerce frame work and they are as follows.

    Functionality/Features
You want a cart that posses the most basic.. but crucially important.. features that would allow your customers to shop with ease on your site. Some of those basic features for me as Registered and guest checkout. I want my customers to have the option to either register for an account on my site check out as a guest in case they don't plan on return and just want to buy that one item on the Go. Another important feature I look for is a coupon system. If you plan on offering promotions, an eCommerce frame work setup to allow discounts through coupons codes is essential.

    Payment Gateway
If it's one thing that has been increasingly hard for me to find in an eCommerce Framework is one that integrates well with Authorize.net. And I don't mean an Authorize.net Simple CheckOut Integration. You want an eCommerce Framework that seamessly intergrates with Authorize.net. An eCommerce frame work that allows you to use Authorize.net in a seamless way is one to strongly consider, since Authnet is the most popular payment gateway that I know of and when the need for such a payment gateway arrives (such as you promoting yourself from Paypal to your own Merchant account to accept payments), you'll have a framework that supports it without much hassle.

    Customization
Being able to customize the look & feel of my shop with 100% control of every element is a must. Having the ability to add additional features and functionality through third-party plugins is even better, because you know the people developing those plugins are making sure they work.

With that being said, I have found Wordpress and the eCommerce Plugins for it very useful because they are very popular with a huge and active community that will be there for you should you some into problems. It's easy to learn, uses PHP, have tons of plugins to extend the functionality of your store. Even the paid plugins are very affordable and come with support.

Joomla and their ecommerce framework also seems good, but I don't have as much experience with there CMS as I do Wordpress so can't really comment on it. Same goes with other ecommerce solutions, but have tried some others.

Hope my suggestion helps. If you need more suggestions, feel free to PM me.

We used Zen Cart for 7 years and recently switched to Magento. While Magento has the bells & whistles, it has a clunkier workflow for end users. We use several third party software packages ECC and Stamps Batch Shipping Plugin to process orders.
