I am learning seo i just want to know the best way to write my articles where do the h1,h2,h3 go?

This is how i have been doing it............

Word press Title h1 - Correct SEO Article Writting

400+ words broke into 2/3 paragraphs

h2 - Learning The Correct SEO Article Writting Skills

Picture with alt text - seo-skills-480x480

    200+ words -

Is that the correct format for article writing? I do not really use the other h3 tag should i be using this,if so where would it go in my example above?

In the example i was targeting the keywords "Correct SEO Article" i would normally have that phase maybe wrote with the article about 10 times within the article,is that to much?

I try to put 3 internal website links "my other articles" is that good or bad?

    Does the bold,italic,underline,colour do anything?

Is there anything else i can do within this article "not off page seo like backlinks etc" to make it more search engine friendly?

    Any help thanks

You don't want to use the h tags for article writing. Those are for your web pages.
h1 would be the Title to your page.
h2 and h3 could be used for sub-titles if they are related.

10 times is way too much. All you need is 3 times. Basically once in the first sentence, in the middle and at the end.
Not sure what you mean by "3 internal website links "my other articles", but that doesn't sound good.
Yes, I think it helps to use bold, italic and underline.

First, unless you're targeting the misspelling, correct your spelling mistakes, writing only has one T!

Bold, italic etc don't mean a thing to engines. Instead use the <em></em> and <strong></strong> tags to add emphasis as these have a semantic meaning to the engines. Usually defalut CSS styles will make the <em> tagged text appear in italics and <strong> in bold... but the engines dont place any emphasis on the old <b> and <i> tags that can be used to do this.

Its good to link between your articles, make sure you use relevant keywords to link to them. This will share internal link juice to those articles. Do this in a circular fashion, if you had 4 articles then link 1 to 4 and 2, 2 to 1 and 3 and 3 to 4 and 1.. that looks confusing, Ill draw a diagram!

    4<->1<->2<->3<->4<->1->

This is kinda like the old web rings that used to be around. Just helps the page rank flow between articles.

Header tags just help the search engines know which text is most relevant to the page title. Make sure your H1, H2 relate to the page title. No need to use H3, generally the engines place greatest relevance on H1 and least in H5.

Using that phrase ten times is alright but it's best to mix it up a little with a few variations.

    What others have said.

Keep in mind that your keyword should not appear more than 2-2.5% of the time.

There are no magic formulas or weird science to SEO, and there’s no right or wrong way of doing things. There are guidelines, however, as you will discover in this two-part article. SEO writing is very much a matter of common sense, and the application of some very simple points that are based on the idea of well constructed articles, and well constructed websites. Surprised? Don’t be. Just read on.
