What are 3 way links ?

Can someone tell me what exactly is 3 way link exchange ? Some say its A --> B --> C --> A.

Is this the way ? Or are we supposed to leave the circle unfinished?

The more i search for it on the net, the more confusing it becomes. Quite a number of articles say A --> B --> C --> A. Others say A --> B and C --> A.

But some say otherwise as well.

Does anyone know of an online authority on links?

my website A.com, linking to B.com site., when B.com website asks for a reciprocal link, i will provide a link where B.com is already listed which is C.com..

You are trying to convince the opposite party that you will take the link of your website in his high pr sites and give his websites link in you other websites which is same pr or less pr. If both are agree then you will get you websites links from that websites in main websites and give his websites link in you other websites or web portal.

A = Website of third party ( Where you want Links)
B = Your own Websites
C = Your own websites

You try to get Link of B websites link in A's Websites.
And you provides link of A's Websites in your C websites.

This is the three-way link exchange process.

A three way link exchange is refer to a kind of reciprocal link exchange among three domain instead of two. In a normal reciprocal link exchange, you and your link partner exchange link with each other. Search engine can easily find that out. In a three way link exchange, three different domain must be involved. Here I give one example. Like site A link to site B, But not B to A.So, site B is only receiving a one way link for site A and not linking back to it. Likewise site C and site A are linked from one site but not linking back.
