Using LSI keywords can help you rank for your main keyword and make your post look more natural instead of spammy. LSI keywords are words that relate to your main keyword. If you put a keyword in Google keyword the other results are normally LSI keywords Basically what Google would expect to find on a page about your keyword... Thanks Joe Elliott
Joe pretty much nailed it.... If your keyword is "dog training" but your article doesn't mention anything such as "dog toys", "discipline for animals", etc... it seems quite fishy. My best guess is that google uses this to identify articles that have keywords injected into irrelevant content.
