I think the disadvantage is that the Comes with download manager is very slow.

I would comply to that, it is what you prefer using as a browser. I too like Chrome and found it to be a little faster for browsing as compared to others, I don't know if it was just me or it really is. Chrome does work for almost all your basic needs and if you move towards a more technical side things would start getting more clear.

Not only does this not answer the question, but it is just a copy from Wikipedia.

It's a bit of a strange question really - I've been using Chrome for about a year and am not aware of any real disadvantages.

I don't think any browser is made for webmasters is it? They are designed for people who want to search the internet.

Disadvantage may be the privacy protection, chrome gives google more insight into your browsing preferences, behaviors etc., I prefer Opera.

I prefer chrome but still i many a times find it disadvantageous as whenever google modifies anything on its server even chrome's speed and visibility gets affected the most while the advantage is google products open faster as compared to other browsers like IE, opera, FF, Eagle etc. I have used all of them and found FF and chrome to be the best.

yeah i don't think browsers are designed \ created around webmasters, in any way. i think there are addons \ plugins that can be suited for webmasters, but browsers alone are just for browsing.

Not according to Google it doesn't, see: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/google-chrome-communication/ I guess the main line from it is:
"If you’re just surfing around the web and clicking on links, that information does not go to google.com."
If you do have something from an authority that contradicts that statement, it would be very interesting to see it.

It does not fully support all the add-ons I would like to have, such as Delicious and Greasemonkey. Then again I think that it is one of the least bad browsers out there!

Kind of odd to see this question pop up, but the main disadvantage I ran into is that it autoupdates and requires it to do so in order to use the latest flash. For someone like me who keeps her browser open for days at a time with work-related things, this is a serious problem.

I can't see any disadvantage in chrome till now (in my opinion/experience). Even it is faster than Firefox.
