I think it will compete with facebook in sometime since google is after it and everyone is ON google.

    Cheers.

Try say it "Google +" and "Like it". What more waptrick to ear? Of course "Like it!". Google has very bad name for his service.

    Google+ vs Facebook 0:1

I believe that facebook is still the leader in social media, and it will remain, google+ doesn't seams to be that professional like facebook.

Despite the successes of Google in lots of arena, I feel that in this field against Facebook, it is bound for defeat. Facebook is simply too entrenched already.

I don't think it has done this yet. Not so far there is any chance for that.

With ‘Wave’ and ‘Buzz’ having fizzled, and with Google’s engineers calling it “a pathetic afterthought’
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/1...n_1007248.html
it’s difficult to expect something ground-breaking. The only notable exception is ‘circles’. On the whole, Google plus doesn’t offer something extraordinarily brilliant (as comparison to Facebook) to convince people to switch to it.

No. Take a look at DP for example. G+ = 1K. fb Like = 5K.

Google + will never succeed. I'm pretty sure most people are aware of how much information Google already has about them. I just don't see it ever happening.

I think it's possible in time, but it won't happen in the short term. Facebook is so huge and so popular.

For now, Facebook will stay the king of social networking. It'll take a mass buyout or a very intuit functionality to be introduced for Google+ to win.

If google+ really have such potential it should be already crossed the facebook. however, there is a lots of distance between these 2 social networking giants.

No, Facebook has far superior market penetration; to the point that it is a cultural icon. Google is also an icon, but not of social networking.
