What is the best software to monitor SEO?

I am not looking to attract a huge amount of traffic to the site, but I would like to know where specific traffic to my site comes from, and also tips on optimising my page further.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of:

• SEO Moz
• Adobe Omniture

Can anyone recommend any other software?

I'm currently using the spydermate to monitor my SEO. Its pretty affordable and offers a bunch of useful tools.

 

I would say SEOMoz software, but also MArket Samurai, it gives you a great section to track your ranks as well as being a great tool for keyword research and competition research.

u should have had your questions a bit clearer. what do you mean by "monitor SEO" ?
if you want to monitor your rank in the SERP, then you need rank tracker (paid) or rankerizer (free)
if you want software that can automate your link building, then SEnukeX is stuff to go
if you just want to monitor your traffic, google analytics is a great free tool

The software that i use to monitor SEO is SEOMoz and it has proved very effective.

 

Why u r using paid software. Google provide free software like google analystic, google webmaster tool etc.

 

ahrefs.com also give a good results.

 

Google analytics is a very useful tool which provides comprehensive anlysis of the traffic of your website. And there are some tools that can display the internal and external links of your website, and check which is validated and which is not. Currently i used one chinese tools which is designed for Baidu SEO, but i think it is fine to check the english websites, too.

 

According to me Google analytic is the best to analysis your website status. Traffic, Bounce rate, Traffic source etc.
