    There is a nifty little feature called "reserve" price. This means that the auction expires if the reserve price is not reached.

    Starting with 1USD or 10 000 USD is the same, neither reach the reserve price.

    This is common practice across many other sites since ages. Look on ebay auction as example.

    Sometimes the seller himself might have set the reserve price too high and this provides feedback on the price that people are willing to give for something in return.

    On this case, the price justifies a normal western country salary over the course of 6 years (date of site inception)

    Though I've two questions:
    1. Can .pro domain be transferred if I don't belong to any group/company named "reboot"
    2. Can you please let me know what is the reason for BIN that high? As per my understanding if website makes $1.2k per month then 6-7 times its profit is justified BIN.

    1. My work keeps associated to the site, nothing needs to be changed.
    2. Do your homework properly. Monthly revenue is a superficial measure. The current value is targeted for companies, not site flippers.
