php source code encrpytion methods?

    Hi everyone,

    Wondered if anyone had any recommendations for encryption software for php.

    Ideally standalone and free.

    Was considering just base64 and then use eval? Guess really that's just obfuscation.

    Suggestions on obfuscations also welcome :)

    Most if not all PHP installations can run php files encoded with these two. Dont think you're going to find any decent encoder.

    If you are going to encoder your php files then they must be a source of income so surely you can spend the money protecting it.

    I'd say go for ionCube 7, but you must know nothing is 100% secure...

    I'd also add a software license, as a legal measure.

    Stay WELL away from any Base64/eval nonsense...
