    I'm not sure I understand your question. You want to rank for that keyword? If so you have lots of reading to do. You generally will not learn how to rank by reading just one thread in an SEO FOrum.

    I think he is saying he ranked first for vincom village in 15 days - whooppee dooo -- I could outrank him in 24 hours just by getting a domain with those words and putting up 3 or 4 links

    Sounds like a not so competitive keyword, but the best thing you can do is totally ready your site's content and linking structure for better indexing, then gather only quality links, even around 5-10 a day, avoid those crappy links like what you did on your post. Think of relevancy and follow other site policy.

    If you have an aged domain and an easy-as-pie keyword, then it's definitely doable. In one case study a few nofollow blog comments got a site ranking for easy keywords in just days.
