I have a webmaster forum named WDP forum. If you guys make search on google with the string WDP Forum then I get 2nd position on first page. How can I get 1st position with WDP forum keyword and if I want to add more keywords then what I have to do?
Good link building with genuine content can help you. If you do best content linkbuilding then - sure you can get.
Just build some more backlinks to your website using the anchor text "WDP Forum" on relevant sites Do things like building signature link webmaster forums, commenting on webmaster blogs (and adding your link!) and build a squidoo page about webmasters with your link on it.
Putting a link to your site in your signature would be a start. Just throw a bookmarking blast at it + a few blog comments, and you should be good.
Just build more high authority backlinks from niche related sites (forums or webmasters...) with your keyword // make sure they are do-follow!
Website which is ranking at 1st position has keyword "WDP Forum" in description. Please create keyword rich description for your forum. Create thematic back links with "WDP Forum" keyword.
How many blog links (approx.) will be ok for getting 1st position? 500 will be enough or I need more?
there is no shortcut to find 1st ranking and should continue the smoothly effort because some time over optimization is not achiving your target and gives negative results.
Need to do the same thing what you do to promote other sites in google. Improve backlinks with WDP Forum keyword. It will take very less time to rank in google.
Traffic and Links affects the ranking.. build some more effective links so that you can come up with #1 Ranking.
Thanks for you comment........... So you would suggest me to leave SEO for a while? If yes then how much time do I stop optimizing? Which links do you suggest - Blog links, forum links, Social bookmarking site links or FB links? ok, thanks but of what PR do you suggest? will blog links of >5 be effect for me?
first off you cant check google when asking where you are at .. when you search something it goes in a "cache " and google gets your results from there ...
Do some blog commenting, social bookmarking, build out some Web 2.0 properties and link back using anchor text, etc.
Right now it looks like you're ranked #4, which is great, but it looks like there are some on page factors that you can take care of right now that will help you. Your description doesn't contain your keyword and neither does your header tag. Looks like the number 1 spot (angel-owners.com) has a PR3 and over 500,000 backlinks. The key would be to get high PR backlinks to outrank him. He also has .edu backlinks and is in the dmoz directory. Make those few on page changes and keep building high authority links and with time you should be able to conquer. Good luck!
According to me its all depend on search engine nature. Create link building in proper way. First of all check your competitors site, how many backlinks those sites have, how many traffic site have, check this properly and after you can do more work then your competitor sites. Try to get quality backlinks from high authority sites.
