Best eCommerce Online Software (Also Option to Access HTML) ?

Hi,

I would like to change my current site and add features which I am currently unable to due to lack of access to certain files etc.

My current site is (In Signature) and I don't know what software I could use. I have looked at Magento (Looks Confusing), Zen Cart (Outdated Design) and now I am looking at OpenCart but does it allow access to HTML and how easy is it to install ?

Is OpenCart a suitable software to use for my store and will I be able to add the following features:

> Matomy Market - www.matomymarket.com (Similar to Trialpay)
> Helpden Live Chat (HTML Code) - www.helpden.com

Would you recommend OpenCart ? Or can you recommend a more suitable software...

I would recommend CS-Cart. It provides the full access to the source code and allows to make any customizations you need.

 

Prefer not a $295 set up fee. I am looking more of a free option and just pay for hosting...

 

I'd prefer Magento But if you're going for a free script then try Presta Shop - http://prestashop.com

 

CS-Cart also has free Community Edition.

 

Having said that, Magento is an enterprise level solution but has a bit of a learning curve. Maybe you can go with prestashop.Since it's easy to use and learn

If you decide to use Magento, try Ajax cart.

 

Magento is good for complex stores, i have tested Prestashop and is ok from my point of view.

 

I think magento theme is best for shop online . But Prestashop is good too

I recommend you EasyStoreHosting if you want to get an online store launched quickly, especially if you lack technical skills.

 

I use a Blogger template, but i think prestashop is a good option,too.
