If you can find a way to increase your page rank to 4 in 1 month you would be a millionaire. Building authoritative sites take time, focus on strong back links from high PR sites and really look into .edu, and .gov back-links to increase page rank faster.

    Cheers

High ranking can not be easily achieved. Check the content of your blog if it is really useful for your target and also evaluate the way you market your site and its content.

if you want to improve your Page Rank then you need more informative and powerful content for your website/blog..I also did same technique for my blog..In my blog i added only unique and fresh content and build some backlinks after the Google updated.. Google gave me PR 3 to my blog. It's mean you want to improve page rank then more concentrate on content rather than other stuff.

Ask me, I have a PR 6 blog and PR 7 website and I am in this business from a long. If I link a single link to your blog from anyone of these website, I am sure that you get a PR 4 to your website :)

I have been doing this since a long :D

I have a question. Why do .edu or .gov sites help increase a website's PR compared to .com sites?

We could say the exact time of the page rank to be updated on any website. All you have to do is keep working on your website's content and beside try to bulid as many dofollow backlinks possible (backlinks from the quality and relevant website will be an advantage).

Something I found that was weird... My money site with 58 articles (all unique content; 700+ words) and like 800 pages indexed in Google has a PR0.

I created a sub-domain on the site only to create a central location for learning how to get traffic hits to my site.

Google gave my sub-domain a PR1 and all the content on there is copied from ezine and some rewritten. I may have 10 backlinks coming to it and it only has 24 pages indexed in Google.

I'm confused as to why Google would give my subdomain with copied content a PR1 and only 24 pages and not rank my main domain...

Agreed people will pay ok dollars just for a pagerank 4 domain with hardly any content, if you could do this with domains, you could just buy 200 domains and start making your way up their.

Building a successful page rank takes effort, content, skill and time. Hardly ever is luck a factor of this. You have to work hard and hopefully be successful.

The only way I know that this may be even remotely possible is to get large quantity .gov + .edu backlinks and paid advertising.

    Best of Luck,
    Cameron

The reason .edu and .gov sites increase your PR is that they are the most authoritative sites on the web according to Google. If you can get these backlinks they are gold. It is very difficult to get these links you really have to have an amazing insightful comment or post to get it approved by one of these sites. Yes I said comment you can post comments on .edu and .gov sites more so with .edu, but like I said they need to be really really good to be approved.

    Hope that answered your question

PR4 in one month ? This is like impossible, for the simple reason that PR is updated once 3 months !

You can't... at least, no one has ever done it.

You have to consider Google's frequency in updating its ranking. Then, if your website is relatively new, Google will most likely to rank it 1 or 2 in the next update.

If you are acquiring more backlinks than normal, Google may even penalize your site (for link spamming) and it will remain PR 0 for a very long time.

In my life as an online writer, there was only one time when I knew a certain post was given a PR4 in 3 months. It wasn't the whole website, but just a very popular post that it acquired as many backlinks the post can. And considering many major news websites cited it as a source, it really performed well in Google.

    Hi,

To increase PR, Link exchange is one of the best techniques but link exchange should be done only by finding of relevant sites and preferably with the websites with higher PR than yours.

Jumping to PR 4? No way. That is not too hard but hard. Improve your content, post unique article and update your blog from time to time.
