    If the signatures links are dofollow then obviously signatures links will be counted as backlinks and such backlinks (links from forums) are very powerful.

    The signature is not used just to get the back-links...it can also be used as an advertising campaign...when ever members like your posts then they must visit your signature for the more information or to know more about you.

    Yes,the signatures do help backlinks if they are do follow signatures are keywords and work same as on blogs so they helo improving keywords ranking.
    The signatures of this forum are no follow I would like to ask why?
