The diagram is confusing. The arrows are pointing in different paths. Although link pyramids do work, you better check first how you plan on using this.

If you check the diagram in regards to the web 2.0 are they pointing back to another web 2.0? It looks as if it's reducing the link juice that it's passing. I meant the red arrows. The middle is pointing to the money site, 3 more web 2.0 properties. I don't know how much it will help with SERP. You better ask the one who made the diagram about this. Mabuhay.

Depends on the how it much it affects the SERP movement. As in the end all that matters is the SERP result generated from that design.
