    When a website url opens with both of types (with www and without www) that means it has canonical problem. 301 permanent redirection is a solution for this you can choose any of the form between these both.

    In the World Wide Web, a canonical name is synonymous to the host name of the computer or a network server. It is also canned a CNAME, which acts as a nickname or alias for the recorded host name of the domain.when your site open type(www and with out www) it has been canonical problem.

    Canonical URL is when pointing one url to another url that is just simply telling the bot that it is the same page.

    Like for example, www.site.com is usually canonical to site.com

    When a resource can be accessed via multiple URLs, a canonical URL should be identified.Canonical URL is the one authoritatively correct URL for a resource. All alias URLs for a resource should redirect to the canonical URL using 301 permanenet redirect to enforce its authority.

    When there is number of same URL on the Home page, called Canonical URL. Canonical URL is not so beneficial for ranking and traffic.
