it depends on what type of content or service you want to provide, if you want to start a chat or voice chat website then search on hotscripts and you will find the best script demo and if you like them then purchase it and install on your website.

Note : you must use the script which your visitors must like, it must be easy to use and nice to see.

Developing a website that involves a lot of hard work and effort. But with the advent of web design CMS, the website development work has become easy. There is now a lengthy and complicated process.

After using Wordpress for several hundred website installs, I am a strong advocate for using their platform. It works. It's quick to install, most processes are a click or two to execute, and updating the site is easy for the layperson. Plus it costs nothing and it is widely expandable with plugins and such.

Wordpress is good for getting the job done simple and fast, but Drupal is good to the customization level.

I've tried several content management system but Wordpress seems to be the best in my opinion due to very active developer community who make plugins and themes that extend the functionality of the site in all aspects from looks & feel to function. And once you get the hang of CSS, it's so much fun customising the site. Good luck and all the best.

My 1st choice is Wordpress (easy to manage, clean system, w/ many addons) and the second one is Joomla (many addons, robust system).

However if you don't know these CMS' you should start with Wordpress - this is my opinion.

Joomla! is one of the best and most widely used CMS applications. It is suitable for creating corporate websites or intranets, online magazines, community-based portals and more. It has numerous build-in features as well as a large selection of extra modules and components which will enhance the value of your website and will enrich your visitors' experience.

For Adsense sites I always choose Wordpress - easy setup and easy management. For bigger sites such as portals or e-commerce I use Joomla or Drupal. Anyway, if you want to be serious about your business you will purchase custom made CMS.
