In 3 months I have earned $1.5 in AdSense

Hehe, my first 3 mths I earned $0.72!
And then I started doing some stuff...
Soon I got my first cheque of $600+

 

I think that I have had one click since I started my site - and that has been about 3 or 4 months ago.

Its my own fault though, I have not been working on it or promoting it. The site is still being worked on so I have been waiting to try and build some traffic to it.

I did add it to a few directories and managed to get a loyal spammer in my forum, registering different names to put a porn link in his web site profile.

I think I finally have him blocked.

 

build traffic, optimise your site for traffic and adsense, monitor change effects, build traffic again.....keep repeating this steps and you will be earning 150$ a day...

My first three months was $2 each and the four months is much better.
I didn't do much after the month 1 too...

I think you can do few things though:
1. Submit to directories... (you can hire someone to do it too in service section.)
2. Contribute to a forum that carries similar niche. (I got 50 visitors per day by make couple post a day... Yeah... I am lazy too... and that probably bring $10-20 a month...)
3. Keep adding content... which I am not doing much to it and I plan on start over again...

 

Generally the first months are always bad. I also started earning a few cents per month but after working on it a bit more my earnings grew tremendously.

 

Give us numbers...how many uniques are you getting a day?

 

do not be distressed. just remember to post content and money will eventually come. quality is key!

Adsense Does Not Work with link exchanges. If adsense finds your link on another site, they will not pay you. sure you can watch the money come in until it reaches $100, but thats when the *hit hits the fan, thats when they tell you why your not getting paid, "i read clearly from google" that adsense does not support and link echanged sites.

i would post the url where i seen it, but i dont remember, i know if you google it youl find it.

 

Also, time allows your website to be indexed by thousands of seaarch engines. With regular updated content you will be able to see this come quicker than you anticipated.

Using digg and netscape to generate traffic (http://astavista.blogspot.com/2006/10/using-digg-netscape-to-get-traffic.html). Note if the content is original and worth for readers these site can generate traffic of the order of 50,000 visitors a day .

try to fatch some traffic towards ur site by advertising. you can also try some SEO to get free traffics from search engines.

Writing articles and submit directories also works better for increasing the chance!

hey u are going in right directiona i made 15$ in just 25 days and i have traffic of 40 visitors a day and i am trying to increase it further. i got my best traffic on 4th of nov, it was 130 visitor due to my one of the post

 

I am finding that it is critical to have good traffic reports so that you can determine what is effective and what is not. Knowing where your links are coming from is really helpful in targeting your efforts.
