Are Sales Letters the Best Way to Convert?

I am adding a new service to my current website: telephone hypnotherapy. I'm very well qualified, and can put up testimonials and the whole lot.

What I am wondering is how to make the page that adverstises it convert best. Obviously, I need an autoresponder with some free information.

I see a lot of ebooks with a sales letter style page, and since so many people use it, it must work...

I'd like to start an adwords campaign with a really nice landing page that converts well. Should I have a professional write a sales letter, or is there another way that might be better to sell my services?

Sales letter is good, you may consider to high good-freelancer to write quality landing pages for you. Adwords is another way but you should make landing page for adwords to look professional and trustable, not $5 ebook landing page then people will leave immediately after they landed.

They work. But, I wouldn't focus too much attention on it, because we all are aware they leave after once they see the "add to cart" or "buy it now".

Unless what your promoting is worthwhile.

I have to agree with @James Byun. The landing page is essential, but I think it is more dependent on whether your product/service is inticing enough to make a lead become a buyer.

You should definitely either get a sales letter written because you will get good results if it is done well.
