    Google update the Page Rank not frequently. It may be 3-4 times in a year and given out of 10 while search engine rank changes frequently and to get ranking you have to beat your competitors and need lot of efforts depending on the keyword and competition.

    Page Rank is the value of the page given by Google and Search Engine Rank is they position given by Google in search engine. That the difference between them.

    PageRank was created by Google. In fact it was named after co-founder Larry Page. Google found a way to determine relevance and importance. In other words... an authority site. An authority site is one that Google specifies as having quality content and lots of it. It's a site that is jam packed with great information or has so much public appeal that folks link to it. It's popular.

    Search Rank

    Search Rank is the ranking the individual Search Engines give a site or blog for page placement. These rankings are determined by keywords. In other words, the sites that rank the best are sites that have outstanding content and use the relevant keywords that folks... like you and me... enter into the Search Box of the browser.
