AdSense Links Units Disappeared from all sites...

From yesterday I have been checking all of my sites and the link units are missing. It seems like google is doing some upgrades or something. I checked also some other's sites to make sure it is not only problem of my accout, but also on the others sites the link ad units are missing... Does anybody know what's going on?

 

could be that your account is banned. i would check on that first.

 

No, my account is not banned. All the other ads like banners and 234x90 are working correctly.

 

I am facing the same problem. Ad units are showing nicely but none of the link units in any of sites are working. I hope it is not serious. I know Google Adsense is working with Ad+Link unit together. It may be the reason. But panicky you know the reason.

 

I noticed the same thing yesterday. My sites did not have link units when I checked them but at the end of the day I still had earnings from link units so IDK what the deal is.

It could be a technical glitch with Adsense.. It may be resolved soon.. If other ads are showing up.. then it is not an account ban..

 

I am glad I am not the only one as I also am facing the same problem and this is the email I have received from Google adsense after telling them its started happening about 4 days ago (could have been more but i just started noticing it a few days ago) When did everyone else start noticing this? Anyone have any ideas what this is related to? Have you seen a drop in your CTR since this happened?

Here is the email:

"On some pages throughout your site xxxxx.xxx link
units are not showing. If I understand correctly, they're only showing up
on some browsers some of the time. Is that correct? If so, could you give
me any more information about the patterns you're seeing with those? I too
saw it on one of your sites, but so far don't have a good theory as to why
that's happening. I'll escalate your issue to our tech team, but if you
can provide any more info that might be helpful."

I guess I will have to wait but my CTR has taken a 50% drop since this started so I really hope they can help get it fixed!!

It seems to be fixed now. I don't think I was having a CTR drop. Do you mean overall CTR drop or just the link units CTR drop? Anyway it's ok now.

 

Looks to be fixed for me too. I meant overall CTR because the link units were bringin up my overall.

 

Google may be upgrading some of their servers. A week ago, Google docs were showing some errors.

 

Google is now aware of the problem and have said it should be completly fixed shortly. Here is the link and quote:

Details: We are aware that link unit coverage began to decrease on Tuesday. This has resulted in some publishers seeing no link units on their pages, and others to see a limited set of key words returned within the link units. Are engineers are investigating the issue. Actually Link units in my old blog are still showing but 2 weeks back when i tried to add link units in to the new blog, i was not able to do it (and i thought that link units has been retired or not available for new blogs/sites). We need to check it out at Google Adsense Support website.

 

I guess this issue will be fixed soon by Google within a short time.

Hi, this problem has occured because you have 3 or more adsense zones actives same time.
