    Adobe Premier. It helps to create really effective videos and they look profecionally. It has plenty of instruments for that. Windows Movie Maker is much worse if to look at the effectiveness of instruments.

    final cut is more valuable then premier pro b.c final cut modified then premier pro after premier pro you should use after effects but final cut have many features who has already added.

    Sony Vegas (PC Only) = Easy to use, low learning curve, and powerful.
    Adobe Premier Pro (PC or MAC) = Best Overall for general editing, but larger learning curve than Vegas.
    Adobe After Effects (PC or MAC) = Best for Motion Graphics, but MASSIVE learning curve.

    If you want the BEST, get Adobe CS Production Premium, learn Premier Pro and After Effects (you won't regret it).

    Video Editing is a necessity for every individual today. You may be a school kid working on a project, a “wanna be” who wants be an overnight star by doing something weird on youtube, a high school girl who wants to preserve sweet memories of the boyfriend, or you may be an office professional who just needs to prepare for his presentation. Whoever you are, you must have a need to edit and convert your videos.

    I have used Final Cut Pro and also the Adobe Premier both are easy to use however FCP is more advance and is very professional.
