Buying Programmer for iTunes style program.

    I need a highly skilled coder/team to develop a program that will function completely like itunes. Users will be able to buy albums/singles directly from the program. I must be able to update content from a web based admin panel. Anyway this is just the outline of the project obviously we will go into more details if you need them, basically it is just a clone of itunes with a fresh user interface.

    I highly suggest you dont make anything similar to Apple as you will be prosecuted in court. I can guarantee that.

    There are plenty of programs that run like this. iTunes is just a well known example. For the record I will be using this for a music niche.

    That is fine, im just saying if it is to similar, Apple will crack the wipe on you like they did to plenty of others who tried to recreate their products. In fact, Samsung is being sued for 50 million usd for copyright infringement.

    I see you are looking for a desktop driven program, probably written in C or Java. But if you ever looking for something web-based I will be able to do it with php, html, js and css and other web technologies.

    Yeah ideally I am looking to run this with C++ however if you wanted to put forward a web alternative suggestion I would be happy to consider it.

    Well basically I can build a website that is itunes-like. Handling digital downloads as I would with any other e-commerse sites. No problem on the design as I can code any PSD you have to html/xhtml and I will be able mimic almost all itunes functionality with php, javascript, ajax, jquery and css.

    Feel free to ask some questions and we could discuss further.

    Are you outsourcing or is this your own?
