Does Google Analytics Hurt Affiliate Websites?

I've heard many affiliate marketers in forums say that you should never put Google Analytics on your site because Google is anti Affiliate Marketer. Plus once they ID you they will penalize the rest of your sites on the same server. But seems to never have happened to them personally.

Seems far fetched. Anyone have actual experience with this?

Google is not against affiliate marketers but against low quality content. I've never experienced any issues so far.

That was my feeling as well. They don't want to serve up junk sites. They want relevant sites that people will be pleased met their request.

    thanks for feedback.

Nope, it shouldn't hurt any sites. Especially when it comes to search rankings.

THe only thing they hate is when affiliate put crap/spammy content on their sites or take it from other sites and offer little to no value.
