    UPDATE: The fanpage that I own NOW has 1.4million + fans (as on March 5, 2013) and getting 1200-1500 daily new likes. The fans on this page are the most hyperactive you would ever see because of the topic of the page (Hint: Its a very popular book/movie).

    It really depends on the likeability of your update, which should ideally be related to my page's category. The maximum likes to a status update on my page have been 7300+

    The average is 1200.

    I will PM you the link to my page so you can see for yourself the kind of likes diff types of status updates have got.
